Broadway Subway Project

The Broadway Subway Project is a 5.7 km extension of the Millennium Line, from VCC-Clark Station to Broadway and Arbutus. It will provide fast, frequent and convenient SkyTrain service to B.C.’s second largest jobs centre, world-class health services, and emerging innovation and research hub, and growing residential communities.

The contractor began construction in fall 2020, and the line will go into service in 2027.

The project budget is $2.954 billion and will be delivered and funded by the Government of B.C., with contributions from the Government of Canada and the City of Vancouver.

The Broadway Subway Project’s headquarters is located in Vancouver, B.C.
