TI Corp is looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor to join the Highway 99 Tunnel Program team in delivering the Steveston Interchange Project and Fraser River Tunnel Project.
The Occupational Health and Safety Advisor will be key member of the TI Corp Highway 99 Tunnel Program construction team. While the position will predominantly provide support for the Steveston Interchange Project it will also provide some support to the Fraser River Tunnel Project and other projects as required.
The Steveston Interchange Project will replace the existing two-lane overpass structure at Steveston Highway and Highway 99, improve local travel in this area of Richmond, enhance access to and from Highway 99 and complement the Fraser River Tunnel Project. Project construction is scheduled to start summer 2022 with completion anticipated in 2025.
The Fraser River Tunnel Project is a new eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99, providing people a toll-free crossing that aligns with regional interests and an active transportation connection across the Fraser River. Project planning for the Fraser River Tunnel Project is currently underway with project completion anticipated for 2030.
This position develops and delivers the Steveston Interchange Project’s Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan, conducts hazard and risk assessments, and provides an oversight role on the Prime Contractor by performing on-site safety inspections and audits of the project’s Design-Builder and its contracted firms.
