Transportation Investment Corporation’s Vancouver OR Victoria office is seeking an Assistant Director of Human Resources to join our dynamic, energetic and innovative Human Resources team. Our Human Resources team functions as valued business partners in the organization and, as a result, is a very hands-on group. We have strong relationships with our fellow employees, the leadership team and the executive team who rely on our expertise.
Our ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and planner who has several years of experience as an HR Generalist, be interested in recruitment and able to lead a portfolio of several end-to-end recruitment processes; experienced at developing policy, process and programs and then lead their implementation. You will also be a great fit if you’re interested in a start-up oriented organization where you will play a key role in developing creative and innovative ways to deliver Human Resources practices.
Under the direction of the Director HR & Operations, this position is the 2IC to the Director and is responsible for leading the development of HR policies, processes, procedures and programs, lead recruitment activities and providing advice and guidance on managing human resources to ensure the organization meets its mandate and achieves its strategic and operational priorities.
