Tolling

TI Corp developed and manages TReO, the easy, electronic and efficient toll system on the Port Mann Bridge.

Toll collection

The Port Mann Bridge toll exists to pay for the Port Mann/Highway 1 Improvement Project. This includes the new bridge and 37 kilometres of highway improvements.

TI Corp is the provincial Crown corporation created to build and finance the project and repay the costs with tolls. The project is entirely funded by tolls and revenue goes directly to paying down the debt.

TI Corp operates under an agreement, known as the Concession Agreement, with the Province of British Columbia. The Concession Agreement requires TI Corp to repay the project debt by 2050.

Tolling technology

TI Corp developed TReO, the easy, electronic and efficient toll system on the Port Mann Bridge. Our team adopted the latest all-electronic toll technology to create a made-in-BC tolling system specifically for Metro Vancouver drivers.

Customer service and experience

TI Corp manages TReO customer channels to ensure toll customers receive service with respect, integrity and accountability.

Interoperability and combined billing

TI Corp developed a system to combine billing for the Golden Ears and Port Mann bridges. Linking back-ends from two different toll systems means one TReO bill for two bridges, and an easier, more efficient toll system for Metro Vancouver drivers.
